Good thing Forde's not here, he'd never let poor Franz hear the end of this. I really like the way that you handled drawing the characters and I think that your work with rain effects is coming along nicely. I do have a couple of questions though. First, what's with Amelia's eye? Is she suppossed to be winking? Or did some of the rain get in her face? If the latter, it might make sense to have her rubbing at it to get rid of the water. Or, better yet, having the oh-so-courteous Franz do it for her. Also, are those blankets or cloaks (like they might wear in the field) that they're carrying? I can't tell, though that does give me an idea. Perhaps you could recolor the blanket Franz is holding to have a checker pattern like a picnic blanket and have Amelia holding a basket under arm to make it look like the two of them were on an...outing of sorts. Well, let me know if my input or my suggesstions prove helpful and talk to you later.

Well I guess she is winking. I practically copied their poses directly from a mag, except that they're not holding books. Those are blankets, I guess you could say that they were asked to get some blankets from the storage tent, that's a bit far off.

Wait a minute, where did books come from? I asked in those were blankets or CLOAKS, as in a heavy outer garment one wears as protection from the cold. Either way, I'm glad my input proved helpful. I hope to have another story up fairly soon, so please keep your eyes open. Talk to you later.

Yeah, I've been busy enjoying the sweet and blissful andrenaline pumped freedom commonly refered to as summer. On the bright side, I DID finish the draft of story six. I just need to revise it and submit it. Also, I'd like to run an idea past you. As you might know already, story six will introduce the Earth Unified Republic (E.U.R) and the Earth Republic Navy (E.R.N). I was thinking that, as a filler (i.e small fic), I could write up a brief manual of sorts. It would give the names and brief descriptions of the various ships of the E.R.N, as well as a bit of background on where the names came from. Here's an example:

George Washington Class Battleship: Currently the most powerful warship in general production, the George Washington Class has been at the forefront of the E.U.R's defense for nearly twenty years. Though lacking in speed and manuverability, it possesses incredible firepower and shielding. Noteworthy vessels of this Class include the original, the E.R.S George Washington commanded by C.I.C Nicholas Chamberlain and the E.R.S Ark Royal, commanded by Admiral Sophia Chamberlain. It carries six squadrons of fighters, two of Dragoon Class Interceptors, two of Desert Eagle Class Heavy Assualt Fighters and two of Doolittle Raider Class Bombers. Origin of name: Please, and by please I mean PRETTY PLEASE, tell me you already know who I named this ship after.
