This is for ; winner of the latest contest in Dark wanted a dramatic IronwillShipping picture. And man looking at one’s data of dramatic references and Ironwill inspirations can sure make you draw strange things XP… Though maybe partly I love this ship too.

Lucas: What?! But you said your favorite is Fortuneship!

I know I said that but I guess Game Dawn would actually be the first person I’ll be shipping with more than one person. I mean just look at Riley XP!

Lucas: But he’s practically seven-ten years older than Dawn! That age gap is crazy!

Well honestly if Dawn is still ten and they hit off, that would be very wrong. But I can work with big age gaps IF both parties are mature enough like Seth and Eirika from FE8. So to avoid squickiness, just make Dawn older and stay away from marriage proposals and too rated thungs at least until after she’s twenty plus^^ (Though only managed to make her a teenager here…well had a friend who had a ten years older BF when she was in high school and they’re still together after almost ten years^^).

I really had fun doing this pic due to using some new ideas in it. Firstly it’s monochromatic and I’ve been wanting do one since that lecture in class^^. A bit simpler than usual but it works. Glad that Riley’s all blue and Dawn’s easy enough to incorporate to the color scheme^^. That also gave the title XP though I did have other ideas like ‘Standing Still’, ‘So Close’ or even ‘Then the Wind Blew’^^.

There’s also the use of line weights. Lines are thicker if there’s less light. But not very evident since they’re harder than I thought . Also, it’s in wallpaper size^^!...well I think it is…4x3 right?

Edit: That white border is giving me a bit of trouble.
